In this workshop you will create your own Personal Medicine Wheel Circle
Life is a series of circles that become a Spiral allowing us how to understand, examine and walk our truth. We will start with a Foundation Medicine Wheel that teaches basics concepts – such as”our life is one with the seasons.” The seasons can teach us how to begin, work, dance and change. I will share my stories and answer questions as you create your own Personal Medicine Wheel and learn how to make changes by receiving new teachings as your life is changing.
Melba Moore lived with the Kwatiutl Nation from 1984 to 1988. Katie Adams – a Hereditary Chief – adopted her in potlatch and gave Melba her grandmother’s name. Melba was mentored by a council of elders and interviewed 2000 members asking how their culture, ceremonies and traditional healing methods (including the medicine wheel) affected their health in today’s world. When she left the village she was given permission and asked to share their teachings with others.
